The no the worst. It's just going to get worse.

Hi alls.  In my previous post I said I wanna do some writing in November and December right?

Oh well. I am writing. But not some writing. 

Firstly, SV2 says I am to past up a journal manuscript to him by Christmas. It will be about my first objective. I am like, okay since it's part of my thesis. And he aims to submit it to Q1 journals (Atmospheric Environment *gasps*). Alright. I will try my best. 

Then. SV1 got a last minute invitation from a local conference. (I seriously hate these kind of last minute invitation, 害人不浅). He forward the notice to us and insisted that me and my friend each write a paper. FYI the date that he forwarded the email to us is 14 Dec. The due date for the paper is 31 Dec. *thunderstruck*

Today's date is 18 December. I have been working everyday for 15-18 hours a day since 15 November. Only took 2 days off when Fatty came visiting me two weeks ago. And I work everyday, which means weekdays included. 

I am so tired. I can't sleep well because my brain keep on processing things. How to explain this graph? Which way is better to explain the data? Which graph depicts the data more clearly? How to sort the fking data in the fastest way. 

I am so tired. And I missed home. 

Starting to Stress Out?

I just came back to Terengganu yesterday afternoon (after two weeks of paradise).

I unpacked and do most of the housework yesterday so that I can sleep late today. But surprisingly, I woke at 7.40am. Who woke before noon during weekends? 

I woke up and my brain ran full turbo in panicked and depression. Unfinished tasks pop-up one by one and I start freaking out. I am not sure whether I am on track or lost in mid-way with my research, with my PhD. I got a friend studying with me and he finished his chapter 1, 2 and 3 already. And he is like halfway finished. He attended 3 conferences, wrote 4 journal papers. 

Me, my Chapter 1, 2 and 3 are like quilts, only have woven. Attended one conference, wrote 2 paper (but only 1 accepted).

My excuse is "I GOT LABS TO RUN". 

I completed two different chemical analysis for my samples and now I planned to pause a while and write thesis and papers and analysis. I aim to spend me November and December doing all these. But November is half gone. I got seminars and poster presentations queing up. Can I finish them on-time?

Multi-tasking mode doesn't exist in me.

Okay, now keep calm, take a deep breathe and list down the things going on in my brain.
I mean the list of projects or paper on-going.

1. A proposal for Indoor Air Quality Monitoring
2. Flood Forensic for Kelantan
3. A paper on Long Term PM10 Trend
4. A paper on Ozone vs Temperature 
5. My Literature Review (which can be divided into chemical compositions, modelling, climate, sources, effects___FML FML FML)

My literature review is the worst of all. How can you force one people to finish it in a limited time? I thought LR is done in stages, where you add in whenever you encounter some new fascinating things?

I know doing all these is for my won benefit, for my own good. But please, I cannot concentrate doing one while keep on worrying for another.

It's Good To Have Awesome Group Members

As usual, every semester have group assignments, group projects and it is very important to have good groupmates. Because, in these assignments, one human strength is not enough. Especially when the time allocated is not enough and there are lots to do. 

I m now working on my Air Quality Monitoring Report, which is a report done based on our sampling on two monitoring sites, the urban and rural area, indoor and outdoor. Tomorrow is the due date. And our baby is almost done. Yes. Thank God. 

I am very happy that this report was done without major arguments and most of the group members are very very co-operating. We sit down, discussed and divide work. And each of us work out on our own part, and when we finished, we volunteered to do more, help the others and in the end, things were done smoothly. Very glad as I'm doing half of the compilation and edit the grammar and proof read. Most of the things were done by the time I want to compile and I just have to edit the sentences a bit to join everything. 

Glad. And happy. 

Okay. Only the Appendix and Conclusion part left. We have 5 hours tomorrow to do this. 

Wastewater Treatment Plant Visit

As I've mentioned in the earlier posts, I have an assignment which require me and my group members to visit a waste water treatment plant of a private industry and understand how it works and what happens in the plant. 

It's soo soo sooo hard to find a proper industry and finally with some help of some friends, we found Petronas Gas Berhad. *Thanks to her, it's a wonderful company!*

First, I got the person-in-charge's (PIC) contact number and tried contacting him.. And he was soo busy and my application is so rush because I sent the letter on Sunday and I want to make the visit on Thursday. Felt soo sorry for causing them so much trouble.



We drive there (from K.T. to Paka, Dungun). Reach there and the the PIC came to guide us to their Gas Processing Plant (GPP). He was a very friendly man!

Reach there, they provide us breakfast. Oni 5 of us and they prepare a large plate of fried mee hun, large large plate of tuna sandwiches, cream puffs, fruits and keropok.. and also Teh. Owhhh.. 

After the breakfast, we listened to the simple briefing about safety and about the GPP..

Like teletubies? or drain worker. But everyone that work here wear like this. They put the employees' safety and health in the very very first place.

You know, all cars here park in reverse parking style. This is to ensure that when there's any emergency,the cars can straight leave without causing difficulties.

We're not allowed to take pictures of the plant.. company policy thing...


The engineer that guide us throughout the plant is so kind. He answered all our questions and keep asking "Anymore questions?" Haha.. 

And, after the visit (around 1.30pm).. The PIC even call us stay for lunch! They even prepared lunch for us. Big pot of seafood tomyam.. fried chicken, sambal prawns, vege, and fruits and puddings!!


There are soo generous.. HAha..

Oh, because we're not allowed to take photos of the plant, we took many photos of the PPE. >.<

Toilet photos. Haha.. They have bodyshop handwash and bodywash in their VIP toilets! Haha..

My Semester 5

FYI, I studied Environmental Technology in University Malaysia Terengganu. 
It's located in a very rural state. Imagine no cinemas in their capital town. =_= Duh.
And the supermarkets here DO NOT sell pork or bacon. TT^TT *I wan bacon omelette* 
Okay. Still. I survived the past 4 semester safe and sound.

I thought that my previous semester (Sem 4) is the toughest because I'd Hydrology, which need us to do water samplings. 
Go to different stations, take samples every 4 hours, for a few days continuously. There are many ordeals in the process of taking samples. Snakes. Big huge large ants that bites. Super heavy rain, where you have to protect your equipments. Or stay beside the equipment for 6 hours continuously inside a small bus-stop (it have a roof but when it rains, water can enter from every direction except from the top). 




Who knows, this semester is almost the same. Or maybe worse.
till have to do sampling. But this time for air quality monitoring. And it's almost monsoon season now so it rains almost every evening. The sampling will go on for 3 days continuously and as you know, air quality monitoring means cannot do when it rains so now very headache.
 Dont know what to do. *cham* 

Another one. Waste water treatment thing. I seriously HATE that lecturer. 
He call us to find an industry with their own w.w. treatment plant. Go interview and understand what technology was used and why, how and etc. 

The problem is, there are 15 groups of us. We need to find 15 different factory. And he dont want small factories. Fk. 
We proposed a few to him, but he rejected most of it. This dont want that dont want. He thought my father is Minister or wat, I control one ar? Fk. 
Okay. me and my group mates go find industry nearby (we live near a industrial site near KT). And then, I found out the most ridiculous thing. 
We went to about 10 factories. All of them DO NOT have a w.w.t. system and you know how they manage their waste? The girl tat work in a pet food factory told me that they just discharge their waste into the drain outside of their factory. WTF?! 
Okay. My Malay friend, Fatihah brought me good news. She said she found one poultry factory. We proposed to the lecturer, he said the factory must process at least 500 chickens daily. Luckily that factory met his requirements. But, during the visit, only then we found our that the w.w.t.system is down and the factory discharge their waste into the nearby river. OMG. What kind of world is this?! 
In the end of the day, my group still cannot find a proper industry for the assignment while some other groups ady presented in class. FML. 

 I take one elective course this semester and it's the first time I had a 21 credit hour semester. 


And one more thing. My wonderful timetable. 
I study 4 days a week. 
On my Wednesday: 8-9, 10-12, 12-2, 3-5, 6-7 = altogether 8 hours on a single day. Nice.

My "many test per week" started as soon as I reach Terengganu on 21st March..

Thanks to the March re-charge.. I'm fully fueled up to faced the challenges ahead..

All I have to think of is, after all these things, I can go home. ^^

That day I wasnt free and call that "people" to help me fetch my grandma go see doctor..

Kena saman never tell me. He didn even mentioned anything in front of me.

WTF. What if I found out that saman when I reach Terengganu?

My First Final here.. In UMT

I got 6 subjects...

Still got two papers left...
Both needs calculation.. *Maths and statics*

How was the previous papers?
Duh. XP

First paper is Material Eng.
Not bad. Not good either.. Most of the questions appeared in the past year papers before..
I got no answers for the past year.. means.. no answer for the final also. XP

Second paper is TITAS.
LOL. Not very good. I think I can manage to get a B.

Third.. Etnik,.
LMAO. Tough. Cos.. the lecturer called us to read a book.
Questions were things taken from that book.
What book is tat?
Some thing like novel, but not that thick.
Similarities= things are written in paragraph form. Everything in one big passage.
Just read. =_= and memorize!

Fourth.. the killer paper. Basic Organic Chemistry.
Luckily I need not to take the advanced paper.
This paper really can kill.
I didn do well in the mid sem test..
And this paper is far far far tougher than the mid sem test..
Means.. no hope for A.. nor B.
God bless me..


Why every paper seems hard to me?
Is that I didn work hard enough?

Yup.. maybe.

I admit that I'm not the type of people that will work 200% even when 100% is enough.
I am the 70% type.
So, means I am fated to be the B class people. Nothing higher.

I admire those hard working people very much.
How can they maintain their determination?
Doesnt their bed seduced them?
How bout dramas? Food? Games?
I cant stop myself from touching these things.

Some people can stay up late at night *around 3am*.. some people can wake early in the morning *around 4am*.. 

These are the sacrifices they made to exchange good results.

我办不到。。I cant make it.

Only hard working can bring us 100%.

It's vital for us to secrete the happy hormones to make ourselves less unhappy.

When we're in a good mood, we'll absorb thing faster.

Do not stress up yourself.. stress will just make your brain stuck.

And lastly, study is important, so as your health.. dont regret when it's too late..

StoryTime

That day (last week) I went to the University's clinic, back pain, cant bend down my body.. =_= dunno why..

Doctor said, there's two possibilities.. 

One. Something wrong with your kidneys. WTFWTFWTF. *nearly fainted* T.T I knew the consequences of kidney failures. 

Sobs.. thousands of regrets why didn I listen to my mum.. why didn I listen to Ling Ling and Zhi Ying.. Why didn I drink more water?

Kidney problems mean I must eat healthy and tasteless foods. 

These are what i thought of at the first moment.

Second. Nerves problem.. Maybe my sleeping or sitting posture is inappropriate. 

Phew.. This is better.

I must drink more water from now on. I must stay healthy.

Finals Starts

Prepared for two weeks and finally, the day came. 

 My study planner ^^

Yup. I planned in advance what to study and follow the schedule.

First thing first.

One by one.

No mixed up.

Tomorrow. First paper. 

Material Engineering.

Preparation: 80%

Confidence: 55%

T.T very nervous now. 

Dare not to aim high. Dare not to put high hopes.

Because I knew the feeling of disappointment.

The past two weeks.. all I did is eat and sleep and study and facebook. 

And a movie to entertain myself during dinner.

And games. Farm Frenzy. =_=

Study study and study. 

Stay in the room whole day.

Oh ya.. other than that, I went to the beach. 

It's so near and I started to like it...  *only when it's windy and no sun*.

It's not bad here in Terengganu. 

Hope that everyone can perform well in their exam.

Especially those who work hard.

Because I believe that if we work hard, we'll get the reward.

   

The Law of Equivalence

I believe this so much.

If we want to get something,

we must at first, 

put the equal value of hard work in order to get what we want.

HArd work is the key to success.

Try until you get.

Work until you achieve what you want.

If you dont give up, you'll surely achive your goal one day.

Finally.. the mid sem exam ends..

Engineering Maths.

Mechanical Engineering.

Material Engineering.

Basic Organic Chemistry.

Tamadun Islam and Tamadun Asia.

Hubungan Etnik.

Just finished my last paper last night, TITAS. 不知所谓！

There is a questions..

Answer is either correct or wrong.

In order to stop the Islams from developing, the Western people simply named some groups of Islams terrorists and place some western clowns in the Islamic land to be their leader.

What questions is this? =_= 

 I answered Wrong. But my Malay fren says it shud be correct.

My Mechanical engineering paper.

I did a lot of preparations so I thought it wont be too tough for me.

Only 5 questions.. 10 marks each.

1 hour time.

When I finished the paper, my fren said the questions are all from the text book.. so I quickly checked my answers..

One big careless mistakes.. One unsure.. and 3 correct.

Disappointed. 

I got high marks in Maths. 

But because of this, many people gossips behind me..

Saying that someone copy mine.. or I copy someone.

Makes me feel that getting high marks is not a good thing.

And it's hard to maintain the marks.

Etnik. 

The only subject I felt satisfied. 

24.5/30. ^^

I studied. And I got my reward. I can answer.

Nearly fainted.

Chemistry.

It's so tough = die.

13 Days to New Begginning..

Woke up early.. XP not so early actually..
Quitted my job already, thus.. no need to prepare for work..

Fetch grandmama out for breakfast..
Then went to CIMB Bank with Zhi Ying (classmate since secondary school, and going to Uni together).
Waited for 2 hours pluus pluuuus...
Okays.. done..

Then.. went home for lunch..

Then go print out some photos for registration needs..

Then go buy BSN PTPTN loan pin..

Then we went to Klinik Kesihatan Kampar for medical check up..
Sim ple check up actually... Jus answer questions from the nurse.. and fill in forms..
Loads of people doing the same thing.
So.. we cant finish the check up and need to go there again next week.. or maybe this week..
Not sure yet.

Stickkie accompanied me whole day.. sitting there boringly..
Shudnt ask him out.. Sighed..


Quarrelled last nite.. sads...
Hope things will turn better.

14 Days to New Beginning

2 weeks more to the registration date..

Start preparing the school things.. many things to do and many things to settle.

Have to open a new bank account for school needs, have to go body check up..

Have to prepare for PTPTN loan things..

Have to apply for some scholarships..

Have to buy loads of things..

New sneakers.. I've been wearing my old sport shoes for..erm.. since Form1 and the colours are peeling off..

Reebok<< good quality.. comfortable~

Jeans and long pants.. I ONLY have 2 pieces of long pants in my wardrobe.

Shorts~ I got plenty but unfortunately.. It's not allowed..

Need to buy some polo tees.. cos most of my shirts are sleeveless.. =_=

Slippers.. need a 100% rubber one (Yi Tong says it will be easier to clean and dry up).

Need a set of bedsheets.. I am looking for a baby pink one!!!

I wish my house is just beside the campus.

When I think about this, I always get stressed and worried.


What if I cant get a place in local Uni?


Should I start studying in UTAR first, at least it's a backup for me.

New Direction. New Choice.

Working at KTAR gave me a chance to know more lecturers and get their advises about my further studies.

From long long time ago, people around me fed me with Science.

All about Science.

Science is everything about my ambition, about my future, about my whole life.

No other choices other than Science.

In their eyes, only Science can help us earn money.

Only Science can give me a better future.

I cannot deny that Science is actually everything.

Food is science.

House is science.

Medicine is science.

And even the air we breathe in is science.

I have dreamt to be a cardiologist.

An engineer.

A scientist.

An inventor.

The world's savior (by settling pollution).

All my ambition I used to have is all related to Science.

But after my Form 6.. I'm tired of Science.

Everything is science.

Even when I sleep, I have to force myself to revised "How many ATP can be produced by 1 molecule of glucose?, How to produce? How many steps?"

I swear I wont forget. 

I wont forget the glycolysis cycle, the link reaction and the Kreb cycle.

I'm tired of Science.

I'm tired of Maths.

I'm giving up Science.

Going for other courses.

Not only Science can earn money.

How about language?

French.

Japanese.

Or Finance?

Marketing?

Tough decision to be made.

I really wanna be the world's savior. >.<
