Chinese New Year 2015

What's the best for CNY? The food! The cookies and pastries! The gambling! The ang paussss!The friends and family reunion.

As we grow older CNY is just an reason for everyone to come home, to meet up. And this festive season grows duller and duller year by year. When I was a kid, I would be ecstatic for CNY. Mum will buy me lots of new clothes. We stayed up all night on the CNY eve to "守岁" and then wished our parents Happy Chinese New Year. In the morning of the first day of CNY, we will go back to my grandma's house and eat breakfast together (rice and various dishes). Grandma says if we eat fully on the first meal, we will eat fully for the rest of the year.
The rest of the day, we will be gambling, playing fireworks, pop-pop, taking ang paus and going here and there visiting relatives.

The second day is always my favourite because it's the day for us to go to the mum's side. Aunties and uncles from the mum's side will come home, along with my favourite cousins.

My house will organise the annual open-house on the second day. Mum and dad will cook many good food and everyone are welcome to eat!

This year, 2015.

Many relatives didn't come back, I don't know why. And my favourite cousin, she never came back since he left and I can barely see her once a year.



But then, my OGG friends all came back. It's a consolation. =)

This is the fourth annual reunion meal. 

(We make it alternates, dinner or lunch, see which one suits us better).

This year, the lunch was held at Tong Hoi Restaurant. Not bad, we upgraded our meals to RM800+ (with baby abalones). From the first meal RM300+, we now can afford RM800+ ones, means most of our OGG members are doing good. =)

His changed his name to Yik Him from Jun Kit. I still cannot get used to it so I just call him Mr Wong.

We used to be inseparable. We sat next to each other throughout out secondary school. We went to tuition at the same place. We share our secrets and support each other in no matter what.

But now, we only meet once or twice a year and barely chat in phone. =(

Still, no matter what, you are still my precious friend. 

My boss. This is the 6th CNY we celebrated together. He said he will reach Kampar on the 3rd day of CNY and then suddenly he came back on the 2nd. ^__________^

And lastly, show you the pic of my beloved cousin. My mum baby sits him when he was a baby so my whole family adores him. He is super cute and super sweet.

My Awesome 22nd Birthday Party

Celebrated my birthday during the Mid-Sem Break.. >.< A week after my real birthday..

I've invited my beloved OGG friends (secondary school friends) and some relatives.

I love them. They brought sooo much laughters and joy into my life. Soo much.

Yee Hern. I met him on my 5th birthday. His dad work with my uncle. 

I still remember, he and his sister came with his parents. 

And since then, they came over to my house on every occasions and became my very best childhood friend. We went to vacations in Miri together. Played together. And growed together.

We have the best jokes, and the best stories. 

I know our friendship is the forever type. Or more like a family now.

She is very timid and she havent adapt to the new surroundings so she is acting aggressively.

 My birthday cakes.

They sang my birthday song like a death march. Super slow and low key and funny max.

After the birthday party, my dad is half drunk. >.< 

We chatted until 2am in the midnight. 

It's fun to listen to him talk when he is drunk because he is making up many theories and expressing many of his brilliant ideas. I always said that I'll nominate him as the President if we have the same election as US. Haha.

 

 

Okays. After the chatting session, we went to bed. We all share the same room, me, my bros and Yee Hern and his mum and little bro. Night doesnt end here.

We start chatting again and talked about ghost stories. And we played ghost pulling legs and I shouted like mad.

It's like returning to the time when we're kids. So fun. Although Yee Hern scared the shit out of me. 

 

 

 This is the night I celebrated my 22nd birthday. Awesome. 

Birthday Wish from my best friend.

Just now Yi Tong called. 
First, she greeted "Hello~~~" with her bitchy bitchy styled voice.. 

Then she wished me Happy Birthday and blurt out a shit load of crap.
She said I decided to celebrate my birthday late, so she wished me happy birthday a day late. I was like HUH?? What the hell is she talking about and asked her what is the date today.(I thought she mistaken the date). And I told her today is 3rd of November.
 And she say "Ya lo, 3rd ma, I purposely wished you a day later one!".

Heartbroken. TT^TT

She thought she missed the right day so she came up with the *wish me a day later*lame excuse.

Then I told her, my birthday is on 4th November. 4TH NOVEMBER, MISS LEE YI TONG, AND ALSO MR EDDIE CHANG!!

Then Yi Tong explained, she scared that she forgot, so she made a mental note to start wishing me two days earlier and then, her mental notes overpowers her conscious mind and makes her think that my birthday is on 2nd instead of 4th.

 When I shouted at her that I'm really disappointed, she passed to her boyfriend, Eddie. 
And he is covering up for her. He said that she thought she missed it and she abandoned her dinner and called me immediately. And he said that they've preparedmy present. *He used this point to distract me!*

When I endded the call, I laughed at how muddled she can be. 
But still, she is still very dear to me.


Anyways, it's just a very mindless mistake. And this is what she usually will do. 


And this is the story of the mistaken birthday wish from my best friend this year..

Long Silence Big Difference

Decided to revived this blog after a long long pause.. 

I thought of quitting this blog but it had become my secret base for saving my cherished memories and thus, I will continue keeping it. 

I didnt even post a review on my last year's memories... 

I realised that, when people grows older, they tends to change.. Their taste of fashion, their favourite colours or food.. Their usual characteristics.. 

I changed a lot too.

I used to be fond of chocolates.. but now, I think that they are too sweet. 

One thing, coffee is still bitter to me.

Last time, I cannot survived without people talking to me.. but now, I cant stay in my room for more than 20 hours a day.. and speak less than 10 sentences to people around me. 

Even in my room, I can leave my phone aside and do my own things.. and my things never ends.

I surf net.. play games.. watch animation and movies and dramas.. sleep.. daydream.. and then.. one day passed.

This is my life in Terengganu. 

My real life begins when I'm back home.

I talked and played and talked.. and when I'm at home, I can survived one whole week without computer or internet. 

At Kampar, eating a bowl of noodles that cost me RM20 is not a big deal.. but here.. a plate of RM3 rice makes me complain "Wah, what happened ar?! So expensive today!".

And friends. 

I missed OGG. Every single one in OGG.

Being with them, I can be the real me. I need not to please anyone, or pretend to be nice.

I can shout and yell and pinch and punch. 

I love them.

This friendship is the thing that never change.

No matter how long time have passed, when we are together, we are still the us.. 

We teased and we laughed. 

We quarreled and we forget.

We enjoyed the time together and it remains in out heart forever.

Until now, we still remember the funny memories from our secondary school.

And everytime we mentioned about it, we can never stop laughing. Even when we'd laughed about it dozens times ago.

Friends.

My Stickkie.

We'd been through a lot. And now, you're a part of my life.

We need not to talk. And we know that we are there.

Things have become so simple and so normal for us and sometimes we neglected each other.

We quarreled and we continue going. 

We give each other support and listen to each others' sorrows.

I hope that this wont change. 

Family.

My family is full of problems and gossips. 

Because it's a big family.

They fight and complaint, but they can never be apart. The three sisters.

They grumbled and teased.. but they understand each other. The big tree of my house.

My family may not be rich, but my dad never failed to give us what we want.

My mum is fierce and super nagger.. but she will always prepare all the best for us. From food to clothing.. everything is ready.

The is fair, they gave you something, they will take back something in return.

So, even though each of us have our own short coming, we tolerate and compromise. 

Me myself.

There are a few things that I want myself to learn.

Never talk when I'm angry.

Cool down before I speak.

Work harder and never take things for granted.

I want to be someone that makes you feel proud. And my each and every day is a gift, blessed by you.

My 21st Birthday

Went to yum cha at Blue Sky Bistro (dunno whether the name is correct XD)..

After pooling, we send Fei home.. Stickkie brought me to his home to eat cake, he said his house got cake..

When I reach his house, he gave me my present to went to the kitchen to take out the cake..

Then, I heard noises outside and Yi Tong, Sek Yen, Fei, Hwa and Mok turned up.. O.O

And sang a funeral march toned "Happy Birthday" song.. XPXPXPXP
