Realistic Vs. Materialistic

Realistic: concern for fact or reality and rejection of the impractical and visionary
Materialistic: Materialistic describes a person who is markedly more concerned with material things (such as money and possessions) rather than spiritual, intellectual, or cultural values; an adherent of materialism.

This two phenomena is very common among human nowadays.
Even if now you dont practices this, it doesnt mean that you wont in the future.

Being realistic is a good thing.
It lets you understand about your current situation and face the reality, not indulging in the stupid and hopeless dreams, hoping for something impossible.

As for materialistic, it's not bad but it depends on how you practices it.
Being materialistic can make someone improves his living status and life quality.
One will start to yearns for luxuries and better things.

Few years ago, when I was still engrossed in those impossibly sweet stories, I think that money is just for clothes and food.
My future life partner need not to be rich.
But now, I know.
Money makes life better. At least, he must have a stable income that can support my expenses.

The basic for a relationship is money.
If two people wanna get wed, stable financial support is vital.
If you have stable income, first of all, both of you need not to worry about your basic living expenses.
Money is the reason for arguments and fighting between most couples.
"Not enough money for electric bills, not enough money for petrol"

Talking about money will 伤感情. But to say things out clearly and honestly can prevent future arguments.

So, the one reading this, please be aware.
No money, no marry.

I am realistic. *~\(≧▽≦)/~
