Chinese New Year 2015

What's the best for CNY? The food! The cookies and pastries! The gambling! The ang paussss!The friends and family reunion.

As we grow older CNY is just an reason for everyone to come home, to meet up. And this festive season grows duller and duller year by year. When I was a kid, I would be ecstatic for CNY. Mum will buy me lots of new clothes. We stayed up all night on the CNY eve to "守岁" and then wished our parents Happy Chinese New Year. In the morning of the first day of CNY, we will go back to my grandma's house and eat breakfast together (rice and various dishes). Grandma says if we eat fully on the first meal, we will eat fully for the rest of the year.
The rest of the day, we will be gambling, playing fireworks, pop-pop, taking ang paus and going here and there visiting relatives.

The second day is always my favourite because it's the day for us to go to the mum's side. Aunties and uncles from the mum's side will come home, along with my favourite cousins.

My house will organise the annual open-house on the second day. Mum and dad will cook many good food and everyone are welcome to eat!

This year, 2015.

Many relatives didn't come back, I don't know why. And my favourite cousin, she never came back since he left and I can barely see her once a year.



But then, my OGG friends all came back. It's a consolation. =)

This is the fourth annual reunion meal. 

(We make it alternates, dinner or lunch, see which one suits us better).

This year, the lunch was held at Tong Hoi Restaurant. Not bad, we upgraded our meals to RM800+ (with baby abalones). From the first meal RM300+, we now can afford RM800+ ones, means most of our OGG members are doing good. =)

His changed his name to Yik Him from Jun Kit. I still cannot get used to it so I just call him Mr Wong.

Me and Wai Kei. 

We used to be inseparable. We sat next to each other throughout out secondary school. We went to tuition at the same place. We share our secrets and support each other in no matter what.

But now, we only meet once or twice a year and barely chat in phone. =(

Still, no matter what, you are still my precious friend. 

My boss. This is the 6th CNY we celebrated together. He said he will reach Kampar on the 3rd day of CNY and then suddenly he came back on the 2nd. ^__________^

And lastly, show you the pic of my beloved cousin. My mum baby sits him when he was a baby so my whole family adores him. He is super cute and super sweet.

Back to December

When can I stop feeling sad when I think about you?

It's Christmas Eve. And it makes me think of you again. So I look through the old photos. I didn realised you've grown old and there are more and more white hairs on your head..

You're a big tree, holding us together.Giving us support. Never endlessly caring for us, worrying us.


I remember, there's once, Uncle Micheal ask me, what animal resembles himself, I said rooster. Because at time time, I think rooster is nice and not scary and easy to find, easy to be with. This is just like Uncle Micheal. Always willing to teach me new things, fascinates me and most important, play with me.

Then he ask again, what animal resembles Uncle Yim. I'm whispered "bulldog". This is because, Uncle Yim is large and fierce and makes me trembles. It's like he can simple crash me without effort.  Whenever he is around, I'll be very stiff. I dont understand why I'm so afraid of him that time. I trembles and my hearts almost stop whenever I show him my report card from school. I tried to avoid him in all means at home, scared that he will give me extra revisions, dictations and assignments.

And this man became one of the most important in my life that I feel stupid for being scared of him, feeling silly for avoiding him at home. I wished I could have more time to be with him now.

My Awesome 22nd Birthday Party

Celebrated my birthday during the Mid-Sem Break.. >.< A week after my real birthday..

I've invited my beloved OGG friends (secondary school friends) and some relatives.

I love them. They brought sooo much laughters and joy into my life. Soo much.

Yee Hern. I met him on my 5th birthday. His dad work with my uncle. 

I still remember, he and his sister came with his parents. 

And since then, they came over to my house on every occasions and became my very best childhood friend. We went to vacations in Miri together. Played together. And growed together.

We have the best jokes, and the best stories. 

I know our friendship is the forever type. Or more like a family now.

She is very timid and she havent adapt to the new surroundings so she is acting aggressively. 

=( Hope she can be more gentle. 

 

 

 My birthday cakes.

They sang my birthday song like a death march. Super slow and low key and funny max.

After the birthday party, my dad is half drunk. >.< 

We chatted until 2am in the midnight. 

It's fun to listen to him talk when he is drunk because he is making up many theories and expressing many of his brilliant ideas. I always said that I'll nominate him as the President if we have the same election as US. Haha.

 

 

Okays. After the chatting session, we went to bed. We all share the same room, me, my bros and Yee Hern and his mum and little bro. Night doesnt end here.

We start chatting again and talked about ghost stories. And we played ghost pulling legs and I shouted like mad.

It's like returning to the time when we're kids. So fun. Although Yee Hern scared the shit out of me. 

 

 

 This is the night I celebrated my 22nd birthday. Awesome. 

Mid Autumn Festival

When I was a kid, I like Mid Autumn Festivals. Because, there will be celebration, playing candles and lanterns and lots of friends and relatives will come and its a lot of fun. 

But since that year, Mid Autumn wasnt fun anymore. It's very painful to think back what happened.
Scientist says we tend to alter our memories everytime we recall it. Means the more we think of it, the more we will tend to forget. I dont think it's true because that scene couldnt be deleted no matter how hard I tried.
I still dream about him once in a while. It's almost the same thing.. he is either laughing or eating. Sometimes singing. And that moment was so precious and warming that I'd trade anything to make it come true. *wipe tears* >.<

So, since then, I just celebrate Mid Autumn with a simple dinner.. This year, I went home for dinner. To meet my loved ones. To meet grandma and also to meet the apple of my eyes.. Not Stickkie this time. He is the cute little boy that never fails to cheer me up.

The boy is going back to Singapore. *heartbroken* 
No more HinHin at home now. 

Went home 4 days 3 nights. >.< Skipped one day class.. 
Filled my 4 days 3 nights with friends and families. Not a single second wasted. 

Homesick already. TT^TT 
Any medicine can cure homesick? Because this disease is becoming more and more serious. 
I miss everything in Kampar. I missed Stickkie. I missed my mum. I missed my brothers. 





                       

March Recharge

Went home last weekend..
Have had a very very nice weekend at home..
Spent everyday to the fullest..

Took a bus on Thursday night..

Ling, Ying and two of Ying's coursemates followed me to town..

Have our dinner at Chinatown..

8.30pm.. bus started.. ^^

5.15am next morning reached Kampar..

Stickkie came to fetch me and then I went home to continue sleeping..

Mum and bro woke up when I reach home..

Chatted with them till 7am and then continue sleeping..

Woke up around 10am I think..

Go to IPOH ^^

First, we headed to Yik Foong because Stickkie want to fix his LCD.

Then, we went to Ipoh Parade..

Hohoho.. shopping time..

Actually I think I am the one who is more like birthday..

I bought hair accessories, a bag, a shirt..

After the first session shopping.. we went to Oh Sushi for lunch.

 Cunning little sushi.. with wasabi stuffed inside!! 

 Dunno wat maki.. XP Yummy..

 He is avoiding the camera.. Hmph!

After lunch, we went to Jusco.. walk a bit...

Then we went home...

Woke up early and ate my breakfast with my granny.. ^^

She wore the blouse that I bought for her during CNY. 

After that.. I went to straighten and dye my hair.

WTF. 5 hours plus plus..

Washed my hair 5 times..

Steamed 3 times.

And finally.. it's straight!

Woke up early in the morning.. ^^ 

Went to "hang qing" *Mum's side*..

They bought an Ogawa Massage Chair for Uncle Yim..

A Toyota Vellfire for 3rd Uncle..

And a motorbike for 4th Uncle *cos he cant drive a car* 

Have to go back to UMT in the night..

Had a lot of fun at home.. 

Spending time with my loved ones..

My CNY 2011

My CNY break is also my mid semester break..

Went home on 27Jan night.. 

Went to the bus station by UMT's bus.. 

Luckily I and Ling went down just in time.. 

Rushed on bus quickly.. ^^ 

Reached the bus station around 6pm.. 

Ate our dinner at KFC ^^

Zhi Ying, Chia Yin them cant get on bus.. end up paying bus sapu to fetch them out.

Reach home around 5am plus in the morning.. 

Dad fetched me home.. ^^

What a busy day at home.

First.. facial time~

Then.. mum helped me permed my hair.

Outcome = OMG

But have to accept it.. =_=

The following days.. went to Ipoh twice with Stickkie..

Changed the lens of my specs..

Ate a lot of new year biscuits..

Watch海派甜心 with my dad..

At first he said that why am I so childish.. watch such silly drama..

Then he watch a bit with me..

End up he call me re-play it for him again.

How is my holiday?

First of all.. I did spend some time to do my art and crafts..

didn take the photos of the thing inside.. XP

I did spent some time in kitchen.. ^^

I did spent some time with friends.. Although not much..

I did spent a lot of time on tv.. XP

I did spent a lot of time with Stickkie..

And I did spent a lot of money. =_=

I bought a new external hard disk.. Cos the one I'm using previously is severely sicked.. 

Need to hold it all the time when I want to use it.. And it disconnect a few times when I was trying to copy a single file..

Nice? ^^ I bought the pink.. erm.. it's abit red..

RM200 for 500gb.. With such beautiful design!

Suprisingly.. I didn bought much clothes.. *good girl*

And Stickkie taught me how to change icons..

Family Part~

Had a one day trip to KL with my mum and two brothers..
My dad fetch us there early in the morning and drop us at my cousin's house.
Then, my cousin brought us out.. ^^

We took a 9.45pm train back to Kampar and Stickkie fetch us home..

Tired day out.. and I just bought ONE shirt. 

At home..

Mum cooked curry chicken.. Spicy Thai style Tanghoon Salad.. Yummy..

All mum's dishes are awesome!! The soups.. the veges..

Saw baby Hin Hin twice via webcam.. 

He is still so adorable!! 

Miss him so much.

Not only me.. mum and dad too..

Played games with two of my noob brothers.

What is home? Sigh.. I've came back for 2 weeks already.. and another two weeks more I had to leave.

This is like a place where I spend my holidays..

I wish I could go back to last time.. Stay at home all the time.. No need to worry about leaving..

Now.. I felt so emo whenever I thought of leaving again. 

This is my home.. and I have to leave.

Feels like I haven had enough at home.

I haven sleep my bed enough.

Haven sit on the sofa enough.

Haven watch my tv enough.

Haven ride enough my dad's new car.. *I think I've ride it once only since I came back*

I feels like dont want to leave home.

And, my university have confirm about the new semester break system..

I will have 18 weeks of holidays continuously next year.. From 8thMay to 10thSeptember.

Means.. I can only have one Go-Home break in the whole year..

I dont want.. 

How can I stand the balance 8 months continuously in Terengganu?

Sobs..
